Sydney is my newest foster pup. She is ten years old and in questionable health. She is peaceful, gentle and loving and wonderful to be around.

This is an excellent website to locate specific breed rescue groups. I found it this morning hunting up a dachshund rescue organization in Virginia. I stopped my vet from taking this pup to the local shelter just in a nick of time. Really, why take a pure breed to a shelter when it will get much more support from its breed lovin' family?
